As always we got a warm welcome by Colonel Wuyts commander of TLP. In three separate presentations the concept of TLP with its different branches was explained to the visiting journalists.After that we were able to take some pictures on the flightline. Highlights of this TLP were the 8 Canadian CF18A's of which three examples had special colourschemes apllied. Of course the Italian F104's and Spanish ex US Navy FA18's drew a lot of attention. After the aircrews had arrived we were moved to a place along the runway 08 to see some action!
We didn't have much time to finish our fine lunch because the first aircraft
came back already. Quickly we placed ourselves on top of the former 2
Smaldeel building to take pictures of the taxiing aircraft. That concluded
another succesful day at Florennes. We thank the TLP staff and Airnorth for
their efforts! |
